Google has recently conducted a research into what people search for the most in different nations when they visit its site. The idea behind this research is to get an idea into what people covet the most in every country. The results are astonishing... the following is a quick summary of the results by nation:
Pakistan: Tops the list in: "Dannish Cartoons" and "Sex" searchesIndia: Close second in "Sex".
Arab World: Arab users rarely look up the word "democracy"
Iran: "George W. Bush" is searched twice as often as "Mahmoud Ahmedi Nejad"Russia: "George W. Bush" is searched 50 times as often as "Vlademir Putin"
Saudi Arabia: "Gay Sex" is more searched in Saudi Arabia than almost any other nation on Earth. Philippines is the only nation that surpasses Saudi Arabia in that term search, may be because of the Saudi "tourists" in the Eastern Asian nation... :) .
Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia are the most romantic Arab/world nations. They top the world in the search for the word "amour", French for "love".
Finally, the word "Allah" tops the searches among Arabs.... in Western Europe.
So what do the results tell us?
Pakistanis are hornier than Indians. They are also the most devoted when someone insults Islam.
Arabs do not give a crap about democracy, or may be they fear mokhabarat a lot more than they fear Allah. The search also tells us that the West is more forgiving and tolerant than our Arab “governments” when it comes to personal and religious freedoms.
